You can edit existing policies to remove or add rules that restrict the way policies are applied to operations. You can also specify values for parameters such as accepted algorithms, key sizes, and validity periods.
To edit policies:
On the main Policy page of the Configuration Management tab, select the Operation type for the policy you want to edit and click Go. A list of policies for that Operation type displays.
Select the policy you want to edit by clicking the radio button adjacent to the Policy Name and click Edit. The Edit page appears, displaying a policy description and parameters that you can modify.
Click the Help icon on the Edit page for the policy to access information about editing it.
If you made changes to a policy, then restart the server as described in Starting and Stopping Oracle Certificate Authority Server.
