Starting and Stopping Oracle Certificate Authority Server

Starting and stopping the Oracle Certificate Authority server requires the ocaadmin password and must be performed with the ocactl tool on the command line. If you need to start, stop, or restart support services, such as Oracle HTTP Server and Oracle Containers for Java, then please refer to the Oracle Certificate Authority Administrator's Guide.

Whenever you reconfigure Oracle Certificate Authority, stop and start the server to enable configuration changes to take effect.

To stop and start Oracle Certificate Authority server, enter the following at the command line:

$ORACLE_HOME/oca/bin/ocactl stop

$ORACLE_HOME/oca/bin/ocactl start
