When users request wireless service, the following steps occur:
  1. The device connects to the provider's gateway.
  2. Subscriber, device, and location are sent to Oracle9iAS Wireless.
  3. Request Manager authenticates, transforms, and forwards the request to the Master Service.
  4. Master Service invokes an adapter that retrieves the content in Oracle9iAS Wireless XML.
  5. A transformer converts the content for the target device.
  6. Request Manager returns the information to the user.
As new devices come to market, Oracle verifies their compatibility with Oracle9iAS Wireless.
