Setting Up and Enabling Automatic CRL Generation

Automatic CRL generation removes the burden of manual CRL generation from the Oracle Certificate Authority administrator.

To set up and enable automatic CRL generation:

  1. Navigate to the Notification page of the Configuration Management tab.

  2. In the Scheduled Jobs region, check Enable Automatic Generation of CRL, and choose from the following options:

Specify how often you want a CRL to be generated.

Specify how long you want automatically generated CRLs to remain valid.

Check this option to enable Oracle Certificate Authority to automatically remove expired certificates from, and upload new certificates and CRLs to the directory at the interval you specify.
